What opportunities shall i expect from the MIU Alumni?
MIU will offer the alumni team a series of opportunities and benefits from our membership. This will include, helpful resources, open source learning material, courses available at partnered institutions and information on the MIU incubator.
How should I use the LinkedIn page?
We encourage MIU Alumni to Network on LinkedIn
Networking with your fellow graduates is also an effective strategy for your job search. You share the same experience and it is one of the greatest ways for you to introduce yourself.
First add MIU in the Education section on your Linkedin profile. To do this follow these 5 simple steps:
1.Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then View Profile.
2.Click Add profile section in the introduction section.
3.From the Core dropdown, click Add education.
4.Type your education information into each applicable field.
5.Click Save.
Second, You can either type in Management International University name from the search bar at the top. Or, from your profile, you can click on your MIU's logo. Either way should take you to the MIU's page where you will find the “Alumni” tab. Click on it and this brings up the alumni tool, a powerful way to find people to connect with.
Finally, you can begin searching for and reaching out to other alumnis by typing in a title, keyword, or company. You can filter this further and see some of the different categories (Where they live, where they work, what they do, what they studied, what they are skilled at...).
